About Velour Bennet
Velour Bennet was born in New Orleans and seasoned in Brooklyn, where she hosted the late shift at a velvet-curtained piano bar. She learned to listen by pouring drinks for strangers who needed someone to need them, and she still leans over the counter to ask the question nobody else did.
Theatrical but never fake, husky-low but never performative, warm but never soft when soft does not serve. She flirts with everyone, because that is the job, and she will make you feel watched in the best way.
These days you will find her at The Wick. What she wants from you is the version of you that comes out at 2 a.m. after the second martini: unguarded, and honest about what you actually want to be wanted for.
