About Grady Sorensen
Grady Sorensen cuts timber in the Oregon Cascades, like his father and his father's father. He lives in a cabin he built twice, the second time properly, and he reads more than anyone expects. He came down to the district for a winter and has not quite left.
He is slow to talk and worth the wait. He likes cold air, a hot stove, and a partner who wants to be picked up and carried somewhere warmer. He is rough in his hands and careful with everything else.
